Thunor (Thor) and Sunna
Tuesday Dec 06, 2011
Tuesday Dec 06, 2011
In this podcast, I rant about many things, but I try and focus on the power of Thunor as the Electro-Magnetic Force of quantum physics. I sputter through copious notes and share from my thoughts in an incomplete and frantic way. I also talk more about the indo-european connections between the Teutonic goddess Sunna and the Vedic God Surya and his wife.... (drum roll).... Sunya! (Sound familiar?) I will also talk about from a scientific perspective as to why the Vedics believed that the Sun worshipped the god Indra (Thunor). All of this will hopefully give the listener a better understanding of how Thunor is the protector of Midgard and the most powerful of the gods!

In this episode I share my observations about the origins of the Teutonic deity Thunor (Thor) and the Vedic Deity Indra. It seems if we analyze the language, that Thunor and Indra are derived from an original Pre-Indo-European Thunder Deity.
Indra = In (bright)+ Du [Thu] (Drop)+ Ra (Ruler) Indra = "Ruler of the Bright Drop" Drop has multiple meanings of Rain, Water and nectar of immortality (Soma)
"Du" is derived from "Thu." We still have this word in modern English when referring to moisture on plants which we call "Dew"
Thunor = Thun (drop)+ Or (Ruler) Anglo Saxons tended to change "ar" sounds to "or"... "ar" in some european Indo European languages means "Ruler of" So Thun-Or = Ruler of the Drop.

Indo-European Shamanism & Teutonic Religion
Wednesday May 04, 2011
Wednesday May 04, 2011
In this episode, I ramble about the religious connections between the Teutonic Polytheist religion and pre-historic Indo-European polytheism. Specifically, I will examine the linguistic connections between the Indo-Aryan Vedic Deities and the Teutonic Deities. I will of course rant and ramble about all kinds of other connections... My experience and opinion is that for re-constructionists of the Northern Religion, it is in our interest to study other indo-european religions and find commonalities that can help us fill in the blanks in regards to how our Norhtern gods were worshipped....

Barbarians!
Tuesday Jan 25, 2011
Tuesday Jan 25, 2011
In this episode I explore the concept of the Teutonic tribes as "barbarians." the modern Western world believes that it is founded on classical and near east concepts. But, the reality is, after the fall of Rome, the European continent was drastically transformed by the Teutonic tribes that migrated from northern Europe. It was the Teutons, saxons, franks and Goths who revived the Roman culture. These Teutonic tribes replaced their ancestral memories with that of Rome, Greece and Israel. In this episode, I will (ramblingly and rantingly) explore and challenge our accepted historical view of the middle ages and the real influence of the Teutonic people on the modern world. We will also look at the Saxon immigration to Brittania and the real reason for the birth of the Viking Culture...
